Other
Methods
EFT
is my chosen method of helping others find physical and emotional
relief. As you're likely aware though, there are many other things
that work. Some even work where EFT either won't work at all,
or (in the right hands) might work faster than EFT.
I'd
venture to guess that many who've seen the miraculous results
attained with EFT will find that last statement somewhat disturbing.
EFTs results have a way of making us feel that way sometimes :o)
All the same, there are situations or symptoms where it's best
to leave ourselves open to options. A pretty blatant example of
this would be a broken arm. If it happens to me, I'm heading for
the nearest emergency room . . . not my local EFT practitioner.
But
there are other, far less blatant symptoms or conditions where
a good practitioner of another modality may be (pardon the somewhat
alopathic expression :o) "just what the doctor ordered".
One
example that comes to mind for me is a friend a couple of years
back who suffered seasonal alergies. I'd only begun studying EFT,
but had just completed the Homeopathy section of my Natural Health
Consultant course, and recommended he visit a local Homeopath.
For the several years I'd known him, his eyes would swell almost
shut, and he'd suffer congestion and sneezing like he was in the
midst of a killer cold for several weeks each spring. He came
home with a homeopathic remedy, took it for the next 2 or 3 days,
and that year * and since * has never suffered anything but the
odd sneeze or 'slightly' runny nose.
I've
also seen cases where massage therapy and chiropractic treatments
have brought huge relief where traditional medicine had failed.
Still,
with all that said, I've a family doctor who it would concern
me greatly to be without. (We should all be so lucky as to have
a doctor we can trust!)
For
those reasons and more I've decided to include this section providing
information about several other 'alternative' healing modalities.
(I don't imagine anyone who's read this far has to be told why
it's a good idea to go to the emergency room with a broken bone
:o). Simply click on the modality you'd like to learn more about,
and you'll be taken either to a site that explains it, or our
own explanation.
