More than an educational article, this one is informational. I say that because it's about something you already have within you, but for want of being informed of this fact, you might well have lived thus far without much of its' potential.
The power you possess is innate. We're all unique, in one way or another (our appearance certainly says so), but in fact, we're all identical in true essence. Whether black, white, short, tall, man, woman, a baby or an adult, every cell in our body has an electrical system within it that's infinitely more complex than the most powerful computer on earth.
EFT, which as you know is the purpose of this site, is only of value because of this electrical phenomenon.
A suprising thing to pretty much all of us who practice or recieve the benefits of a tapping session is that EFT works at all. More suprising is that it works even though neither the practitioner nor recipient have any concept whatsoever of how! Now you can say, "I don't know how an engine works either, but I can step on the gas pedal and make my car go forward anyway . . . what's the difference?"
The difference is that how the engine in your car works is clearly understood by millions of people around the world. Every gas or deisel mechanic, and a huge non-professional segment of the population has learned the workings of the internal combustion engine, either for employment or interest reasons (or - like me - to pass auto shop in high school :o). A car engine is, though more complex, is as straight forward and mathematically predicable as a paper clip. Please don't write me about my accuracey here . . . high school was a long time ago for me :o)
In an engine, fuel is drawn into a cylinder through a valve or an injector as something called a piston moves downward. Then the piston rises, compressing the gas, and a spark ignites it - driving the piston back down to suck in some more gas . . . .and so on and so on. The power from the downstroke doesn't just suck in more gas, it also turns something called a crankshaft, and through a series of gears in something called the transmittion, propels the car forward (or reverse - depending on whether you're coming or going :o). You can see exactly what happens by typing "internal combustion engine" into the search bar at "HowStuffWorks.com. But the point is that with a little study it becomes easy to see the reason that engine works.
Not so easy with EFT.
My disclaimer to anyone recieving my EFT services includes that I'm not a credentialed therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist, and for the purpose of this article must add that I'm also not a scientist, physicist, nor do I really 'get' this quantum physics stuff (though I'm working on that one).
Still, when we begin to quantify the power we have within ourselves in a mathematical way, it becomes easier to understand why something as simple as EFT works. Let me give you a real quick example;
There are up to 100 chemical transactions per second going on inside each of your cells. Bob Proctor (in a recent EFT film called "Try It On Anything") referred to this incredible activity by saying, "The electrical system in a human cell would make that in the most powerful computer on earth look like a toy!". Bold? . . . not a bit. 100 chemical transactions/electrical transmissions in one second! Crap! . . . That's astounding!
What's even more astounding is that you, times your 40 or so trillion cells (I stand to be corrected on that number) are doing all those transactions with no . . . that's ZERO . . . conscious effort.
And each of those 'unconscious' transactions is affecting the growth and repair of your cells.
And each time you get excited you 'subconsciously' affect that activity.
And each time you learn something new, you 'consciously' affect that activity.
And each time you 'consciously' think about consciously affecting that activity . . . you do.
* You have the power to control a great deal more than your outward show of emotions. (Boy - that didn't sound like me?) You have electrical/chemical power within you far greater than perscription drugs. You can heal you!
