PainBusters Dictionary
(Many of these definitions are taken from Wikipedia - an online dictionary/encyclopedia)

Abreaction - a psychoanalytical term for reliving an experience in order to purge it of its emotional excesses; a type of catharsis. Sometimes it is a method of becoming conscious of repressed traumatic events.
Note: This term appears to be used in EFT writings to include any unusually intense reaction to therapeutic treatment.

Functional Disorder - A disorder that can't be seen on the surface, nor through blood tests, Xrays, ultrasound, EKG, EEG or other mechanical means. If a biological source can't be found for a disorder it is labelled 'functional'.  Common functional disorders include fibromyalgia, (most) migraine headaches and chronic fatigue.

Insulin - an animal hormone whose presence informs the body's cells that the animal is well fed, causing liver and muscle cells to take in glucose and store it in the form of glycogen, and causing fat cells to take in blood lipids and turn them into triglycerides. In addition it has several other anabolic effects throughout the body.

Tail Enders - Blocks to forward movement on an issue. For example, if someone with movement restricting damage to the neck is awaiting the results of a law suit, and movement is returned to normal, the law suit may be jeopardized. Though the person may consciously want to get over the pain and restriction, subconsciously they know it's not a good idea . . . yet. Even EFT is unlikely to have a positive effect in such a case.
